Cheerleading not sports…I disagree.

USC’s Song Girls.  Very nice.

  • Whacko liberal judge in Connecticut rules that cheerleading isn’t a sport, tells college to re-instate women’s volleyball…
  • Quinnipiac College now will have to resurrect their women’s volleyball program instead of bumping up their competitive cheer leading squad to varsity sports under Title IX…
  • Hmmmm…which would I rather watch?

Let me start off by saying that I have nothing against Women’s Volleyball.  Men’s?  Well yes.  But I have nothing against the freakishly tall thin girls with talent and the scrappy hot ones in back in tight, short-shorts bumping, setting and spiking.  Hell, I have been in love with Misty May and Carrie Walsh for some time now (yes, I know that is beach volleyball, but you get my drift).

However, a liberal activist judge has stricken down Quinnipiac College’s decision to add Cheerleading as a varsity sport in place of it’s volleyball program.  All of which is done under the insane feminist plot to ruin sports which is Title IX and some incredibly stupid court system that says they can do this.  http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/judge-cheer-too-underdeveloped-to-be-sport-28714

Obviously, Quinnipiac decided that volleyball wasn’t viable any more via the fact that it was either A) performing poorly or B) performing poorly economically.  Hence, a decision to cut it and add something else the women folk could do.

Saying Cheerleading isn’t a sport is wrong.  Just think about this for a second; you’re watching a football game and are distracted by something…why yes!  Yes, you were distracted by the cheer leaders who are hot and out there shaking their boog-a-loo.  What is NOT sporting about that?  Actually, I think this college was adding “competitive” dance which is annoying to watch on TV but I’ve seen it live and the shiz is athletic.  It’s not like Will Ferrell and Sheri Otari’s characters out there either.  What’s not sporting about chicks flying through the air I ask you?

Organized Men’s INDOOR volleyball as a men’s collegent or high school sport should be banned. It’s too European.
