The Kingston Frontenacs honored the venerable and outragious Don Cherry with a jersey in his stylings.
Don Cherry and Military night for the junior hockey league Kingston Frontenacs offer us the pinnacle in alternate jeresey-dom.

You have got to go over to this site for the Kingston Frontenacs, a major junior hockey league in Canada and the United States: http://www.kingstonfrontenacs.com/
As you can see, they honored both the Canadian Military as well as the outragious broadcaster Don Cherry.
But the team didn’t do what you’d think when honoring the military. Instead of jerseys in the color of fatigues or camoflauge like those worn by the San Diego Padres in recent years, they went ahead and donned duds that were a little more fitting their honored guest Mr. Cherry.

Don Cherry on Military night.
If you are un-familiar with Don Cherry, well, it’s worth checking out any and all offering of him in multi-media. He’s a riot. He’s gregorious and absolutely an original. As part of the National Hockey Night in Canada Broadcasts of the NHL, Cherry is out-spoken and outragious in his commentary in typical love him or hate him style.
But more in particularly for this story, he is a snazzy dresser. As you may see, he’s got an eye for fashion and isn’t affraid to show it off at all times…
And a little more Cherry to boot…
One way or another, love him or hate him, I want one of those jerseys!!!
